🌿🔬 As part of the PRIMA-SAFE project, a team of dedicated researchers recently held an intensive training session in Tunisia, designed to advance sustainable water reuse practices in agriculture. This training is an integral part of the PRIMA-SAFE initiative’s mission to develop eco-friendly solutions that address water scarcity and promote resource efficiency. Participants included researchers and agricultural professionals eager to learn practical techniques that support sustainable farming and environmental health.
The session covered essential skills for assessing the impact of water reuse in agriculture, focusing on soil and crop analysis. Participants were guided through the process of sample extraction, learning how to collect high-quality soil and crop samples in a way that preserves their integrity for accurate testing. This hands-on training emphasized meticulous procedures that allow researchers to detect and analyze how treated wastewater impacts soil nutrients and crop quality. Through these practices, trainees are empowered with the skills needed to monitor and enhance sustainable agriculture in their communities.
